Challenge
The client had an outdated website (2006–2008) with no structured design system. Rebuilding it in Webflow required creating a clean layout from scratch using a template as a base. The biggest challenge was integrating two community forums inside Webflow, which doesn’t natively support forum functionality. Additionally, a CMS blog system had to be created to manage multiple articles efficiently.

Process
Started with a free Webflow template due to the lack of initial design. Used client-provided Canva references to guide layout and visual direction. Built a CMS blog structure in Webflow to manage multiple posts efficiently. Handled on-page SEO including proper heading structure, meta setup, and content optimization. After research, integrated Superspark for forum backend functionality and created two separate forums. Used Webflow’s gated membership system to control access to the community.

Result
Delivered a fully functional Webflow website with blog, forums, and membership system. The client was satisfied with both design and functionality. Later, due to Webflow discontinuing its gated membership feature (February 2026), maintaining multiple tools became costly. The forum was eventually migrated to Reddit for a simpler and more sustainable solution.
